Animals’ Angels investigators visited the large feedlot, which one of just a handful of lamb feeding operations in the country. There were thousands of sheep visible, divided into large pens. The feedlot can hold up to 50,000 sheep at any given time. The pens offered no shelter and no protection from the elements. All animals observed were in good condition. The feedlot provides a steady supply to a local slaughter plant in Denver, CO. There was no activity during the time of the visit.
