On arrival the investigators observed sheep, goats, cows and pigs in the pens. None of the pens had any water. Parts of the sale barn are in dilapidated condition with large holes in the siding, exposing the animals in this area to the weather conditions. That day, it was snowing heavily and the temperature was 11 Degrees Fahrenheit.  Due to this, there were no horses present at the sale. The handling of the baby pigs was extremely rough; the worker grabbed them by one hind leg or by the ear, tossed them over a 4.5 foot gate and dropped them to the ground. Above one of the pens, investigators noticed a sign stating “suspect pen”. Inside the pen were two dairy cows in appalling condition. Both were severely emaciated, one had a massive udder, which she kept rubbing with her hind leg.
