Investigation Category:

Investigators arrived at the auction at 1130.  The livestock auction appeared slow today.  There were only a few cattle and calves.  One calf still had the umbilical cord attached.  Most of the animals for sale today were pigs.  Pigs were in crowded pens and the animals had no access to food or water.  Pigs were seen chewing on the wooden slats of the pen walls.  Animals' Angels will continue to monitor this auction.
