Roping J Ranch Collecting Station, Fairhaven, MI 09/3-4/11

Investigators arrived at the Roping J Ranch horse collecting station in the early afternoon on the 3^rd. Investigators immediately observed the semi and single deck trailer backed up to the loading ramp. In the pens were approximately 30 horses with green USDA slaughter tags attached. Investigators monitored the facility for several hours, however, there was no further activity.

Investigators returned to the collecting station in the early morning on the 4^th. The semi and trailer was still backed up to the loading ramp and the horses were still in the pens. The gates to the property were chained shut. Investigators monitored the facility for 6 ½ hours, but there was no further activity.
