The investigation reveals that the former small holding facility has turned into a large slaughter horse feedlot with close to 1000 horses. The horses are gathered, fattened up and then exported for slaughter in Mexico. Animals Angels investigators observe trucks based out of Morton, TX delivering horses to the facility, which could indicate that the new feedlot is also used by the Beltex company. Beltex owns a large slaughter horse feedlot in Morton.
