Investigators arrived at the weekly auction at 9:00am. The parking lot was already very crowded and the regular kill buyers such as Brian Moore, Bruce Rotz and Arlow Kiehl were in attendance. The white semi of Scooby Rendering from New York & single deck trailer was also parked in front of the auction. Scooby has been frequenting slaughter horse auctions bidding on all cheap horses that go through the sale. Walking through the three barns, investigators noted that the cow pens were extremely overcrowded. No injuries were observed. The handling of the pigs was again very rough and the animals were very agitated. Several dead sheep and pigs were found discarded in the large dumpster in the back of the auction.
