At this time of year, we at Animals' Angels treasure the opportunity to honor the lost souls who have passed throughout the year and renew our dedication to the animals we are so determined to protect. Our investigators are only human and the horrific conditions we face throughout the year eventually take a toll on our spirit as we continually battle for the well-being of the downtrodden and abused. But as we gathered to light thousands of candles and post your beautiful stories of love on the Tree of Hope, your words and show of support truly served to inspire us and lifted our hearts and spirits. The moving memories and stories that we've received have made us realize just how fortunate we are to have so many compassionate supporters willing to help us in our goal to end the cruelty and abuse that too many animals face every day.
The weather made the event a bit challenging this year! But it was imperative that ALL the candles donated light the sky with their glowing harbinger of hope – which decidedly meant an outside event. As we made our preparations in the freezing elements and set up the candles you all so thoughtfully donated, our minds turned to the animals who have no respite from the cold, who have no warmth of hand or shelter to ease their suffering and our resolve strengthened, our determination grew ten-fold. These animals needed you and YOU answered the call! They need us and WE will answer the call!
The holiday season is the perfect time to show those around you how much you care. At Animals’ Angels, we’re grateful that you thought of the animals with your donation of a candle for our Light the Sky event. Your generosity will ensure that our investigators are able to stay in the field, fighting the good fight, in 2017 – investigating cruelty, exposing abusers, raising awareness, and bringing about the positive changes the animals so desperately need and deserve. For this, a simple thank you will never be enough. However, please know that we greatly appreciate your support, and know this – your kindness will have far-reaching results and will touch the lives of thousands of animals.
