Investigators returned to the feedlot at 1030 CDT. Investigators observed that the truck from the previous night was still parked in the chute area. There were several other trucks and trailers parked on the premises and people were present filling water tanks. It appeared that approximately 150 to 200 horses were spread out over several pastures on the property. Several horses had slaughter tags. At 1118 CDT, investigators were confronted by someone from Baker Stables and told to leave. When investigators returned a Sheriff Deputy followed their vehicle into Stroud and out of the county. It appears that George Baker is one of the main kill buyers in the area and Animals’ Angels will continue to monitor.
