Investigators arrived at the facility at 7:45am. Large groups of horses were scattered throughout the property. Near the road several riding horses were in pens. However, the majority of the horses were kept all the way in the back of the property, making it difficult to assess their condition. A group of burros were in a pasture that bordered the river. No dead or downed horses were observed. It is possible that after our last visit, horses that are injured, sick or dead are placed in another area of the property away from public view. All horses visible appeared to be in satisfactory condition. There was a lot of activity observed on the premises, several workers were moving heavy equipment and building something. Investigators observed the property all day, but the activity never slowed down and made better documentation impossible. Animals’ Angels will continue to monitor the premises.
