Animals’ Angels’ recent investigation into the Mt. Hope Auction once again exposed the plight of baby calves in the dairy industry as we witnessed them being hit, dragged by the ears and shocked with stun guns. Using stun guns on baby calves with a weight less than 200 lbs. violates the Ohio Livestock Care Standards, and our team was there to witness and report the inhumane treatment.
